Technology, media and telecommunication (TMT) is a common term for companies that develop, produce and market technology related products and services. TMT encompasses IT software and hardware, fixed line and mobile telephony products and services, Internet related services etc. Media, such as radio and television, printing and publishing, papers and magazines etc., is also comprised by TMT, as information and content increasingly are distributed electronically. Among other transactions, ATRIUM Partners advised Columbus IT Partner’s board of directors on the company’s complicated financial restructuring, where a partial sale of two large shareholdings made it possible to establish a temporary subordinated loan facility followed by a guaranteed rights issue with pre-emptive rights to existing shareholders.
