Capital raising

ATRIUM Partners' partners have in their current and past positions raised considerable amounts of equity and debt to Danish and international businesses and private equity houses. Capital is usually raised through share issues (publicly or privately) or corporate bond issues or by arranging subordinated loans and other interest bearing debt facilities. Among other things, ATRIUM Partners has raised capital to Columbus IT Partner in form of a temporary subordinated loan followed by a guaranteed rights issue with pre-emptive rights and in their previous positions ATRIUM Partners' partners have raised capital to listed companies like ISS, Group 4 Falsk, NEG Micon, B&O etc. as well as to companies being listed.

A capital raising (no matter type or reason) presupposes a carefully organised process where the business’ strategic, operational and financial situation is analysed. Based on this analysis the demand for capital is evaluated including whether capital should be raised through a share issue, by arranging ordinary debt facilities or by issuing more complicated share and/or interest related instruments. ATRIUM Partners is not only instrumental in structuring and managing the capital raising process, ATRIUM Partner is also involved in the preparation of relevant information material and the identification of – and negotiation with – potential investors and capital providers.
